IDoing head unit issue. Hey everyone, I just installed the iDoing head unit in my 2020 STI base. I connected all the cables including my starlink telematics unit. Everything works fine except I’m not getting any audio from just the front driver side speakers. My starlink module on the ceiling does have a red light on but every button works fine.

Still turn on the amp with the remote wire from the idoing. Turn down the volume on the idoing and the phone you’re using for testing. Then start increasing the phone volume and see if you can get loud output from your sub. That will narrow down the issue to the amp or the idoing. Let me look at your amp settings first though.

The stock head unit is a fancy touch screen basic unit. It has very little power output for the speakers and spotty carplay/AA [at that wired only]. The upgrade to even an iDoing makes a very big difference in everything from sound quality to quality of life.
