if you played since league start and have only 20 ex I wouldn't even think about farming a mageblood. The best way to farm currency in this game has always just been playing the game. If you lose interest and get bored because your farming strategy isn't keeping you engaged then it's a bad farming strategy.
Do a different strat that actually generates currency consistently. If you can muster up a strat farming ~5 divs/hour you'll have a mageblood in about 60 hours.
